Jason Marquis(7-10) finally bested his Dominican opposite, Josh Beckett(4-4), by the score of 3 to 0. Dominican never recovered after Enterprise took the lead in the 3rd inning plating an isolated run utilizing 2 base hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Marquis was helped out by Paul Quantrill who pitched a perfect ninth and recorded his 4th save. The losing pitcher was Beckett. He pitched 5 and 2/3 innings and surrendered 5 hits and 2 walks.
